Parking situation dire, with only a few street spots available!!! Shower pressure not consistent, and the nearby nightlife intrudes on peace at night!!! More electrical outlets would also enhance the room experience!!!

while the place looked 'nice', the shower pressure was an absolute joke and, let's not even get started on the nightlife that's apparently 'charming'—it was seriously unbearable. i expected a complimentary upgrade for all that noise, but clearly, that was too much to ask. , disgraceful.

The place is colorful and intimate with a lovely rooftop. Super clean rooms and friendly staff. It feels safe with a key required to enter. The pool is refreshing. Coffee available in the lobby each morning! Just perfect.

If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love munching on delicious tacos at El Mariachi Loco just around the corner. The staff are on point, and the garden vibe here is super chill. The pool is perfect for lounging after an epic day of culinary exploration. Just don’t miss coffee and cookies in the morning—an absolute treat!

Still, it didn’t ruin my stay. the charm of Casa Sofia stole the show.

Not everything was smooth sailing. the shower pressure left a bit to be desired, and the hot water had moments of unreliability. If you're a light sleeper, be warned—the nearby nightclubs can make their presence known, especially without the AC running to drown it out. The headboard in my room was loose, which created some noise at night, and a few more electrical outlets would have made charging devices a breeze. I'll just have to pack a power strip next time.

It was just a fine choice for a momentary pause in Tulum with very good value for money. The laid-back garden vibe made relaxing by the pool an enjoyable part of my stay. If you want to unwind, hit the pool area in the afternoon for the best experience.
